I'll have to add my agreement to the statement. I thought my Pacific Blue was nice. Yours has it beat! And it's a coupe!

Phil..Yours looks absolutely amazing.. It's a mobile work of art !!! The XKR (and the XK8 & XKE for that matter ) has always been one of my dream cars.. Seems like it took forever to get my hands on one but now that the day has finally come I'm going to savor it ! My wallet is already "very very afraid" but hey.. These things trigger an irrational emotional response that seems to go well beyond "it's a nice car". Mine is a "25 footer" currently... Get any closer and the door dings and scuffs become noticeable. I need to get it to a good jag mechanic first to make sure all is sorted mechanically since I don't have much maint. history from the prior owner.. Once I'm sure it's mechanically sound I'm fairly certain I'm headed for the financial whirlpool of "cosmetic restoration and the never-ending list of.. Man.. I'd love to <insert expensive gotta-have mod here> .. LOL
If you follow the forum regularly, you can find a lot of the mods are not that expensive and many are DIY projects dreamed up by fellow forum members.

You'll love and hate it depending on the day!! But when it's all cleaned and running well, there's nothing better than the top down on a beautiful day!
Note(s) to Self :
1) Don't EVEN try to keep up with Phil...
2) Buy Lottery Tickets... funding has to come from somewhere.
3) Enroll in Carpentry School, Upholstery School, Electrical Engineering School, Learn Paint and Body Work, Learn how to Fabricate, Find a solution to my total lack of mechanical ability.
4) Buy more lottery tickets... way more likely to win the lotto than accomplish note #3
5) Relax and drive it for a while... maybe one of the lotto tickets will be a winner and in the mean time... d@mn is this a fun car to drive !
