What a beauty! Great color! I was so mesmerized by it that I didn't realize it was a coupe until a second or third look!

Triple gauge conversion for me this weekend, went from nav unit and yellowish wood to triple gauge, dark walnut, and chrome instrument rings.

Nice job.
The dark walnut looks so much classier, IMO.

Do we get the 'after' pic too?

Agree about dark walnut as it does look nicer, also when I bought my 96 in 2004 I had the option of getting one with nav or the traditional dials.

Given that Jaguar hasn't kept the software update a good choice, plus with some deep rings the dials look timeless

Wow us with your XK8/R photos-sad-gauge.jpg

I disagree - the ONLY gauge that works accurately is the CLOCK.

😁
Unless you do a realgauge conversion, then the oil pressure and temperature are then correct. 👍

Default Green car revolution

Thought I'd join the green car revolution but the Prius drivers have mentioned that I may not have the concept exactly right.

2005 XKR with about 80K miles

Also my 540iT with similar miles

Love 'em both...

Thanks Rob.

I certainly didn't seek out green, but several green cars have found me over the years. I obviously don't hate 'em, but I think that there are a lot of folks who feel like you do, so perhaps green cars tend to sell for a bit less; not like orange or yellow, but less than, say, silver. Fine by me; they drive just as good and perhaps I've saved some money over the years.

Mr. Wagon, The first XK8 I ever saw was BRG....It was driving down the wrong side of the Road in London back in the Spring of 1996......I thought it was a pretty car but this Green is so much better......and It is on a Beautiful Jaguar XKR Coupe...

Beautiful XKR......Billy Clyde in Houston
