X100 Parts
As JLR is generally not stocking parts for our lovely X100 car, I wonder what forum members have discovered as the best parts resources in North America?
I'm in western Canada.

if you do your ordering by phone and mention that you are a forum member they will give you a 10% discount tnn n on most parts.

PS: I recommend staying away from eBay parts. Many / most eBay sellers of our parts will say a part is a Jaguar manufactured part, when actually it's a Chinese part, or worse yet, a counterfeit with fake Jag logos, etc.
The quality of these parts is poor.

JLR stock loads of parts for the X100. You can buy online from them direct (https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic...uar-xk8-parts/), or via a dealer. I've bought parts direct that SNG don't stock, or haven't updated the listing for.
Has anyone bought parts from Auto Reserve?
They look to be very reasonably priced and have decent inventories. Their lack of photos of the part you’re actually getting is concerning, but they do spell out the part needed down to the VIN range. So in that regard, it looks legitimate.

I've used Barratt and JLR Classic for parts that were listed as NLA by JLR North America with good results. Barratt was slower with backorders, but shipping was cheaper. Classic was quicker but I also incurred a Foreign Transaction Fee because of being billed from the UK. Terry's/Engel in Michigan was very quick with BO and NLA parts. They were sourced and shipped from Germany, most with Jag labels, but a couple with LIMOR labels. 11 days from order to receipt. Prices the same from all. I don't trust Ebay or Amazon for parts due to bad past experience.

I use a variety of parts sources for Jaguars: Rock Auto, FCP Euro, everydayxj.com (good salvaged parts), Terry's Jaguar Parts (especially for older Jags), SNG Barratt, JaguarParts.com, PartsGeek, Amazon (be on the lookout for counterfeits - best to buy from the OEM store, e.g. Hella, Phillips, etc.), ebay (salvaged parts), ebay seller partscontainer (transmission fluids), Top Hydraulics (convertible top parts), my nearest Jaguar dealership, the Jaguar dealership in Tennessee where I used to live, who will still ship parts to me, local parts stores, Walmart (anti-freeze and engine oil), and others. Some of our members speak highly of HarperJaguar.com.
If you become familiar with Jaguar's Original Equipment Manufacturers, you can often find OEM parts from discount suppliers like Rock Auto. For example, most of the oil filters Jaguar supplies for the X100 are made by Mann or Mahle. Brake parts were made by ATE, Brembo and TRW with pads by those companies plus Mintex, Textar, Jurid, Pagid, etc. Suspension components were made by Lemförder. Engine management system sensors are by Denso. Spark plugs by NGK. Most of these brands sell through aftermarket channels like Rock Auto. Here's a link to a list of Jaguar OEMs known to me:

After learning from my own experiences using eBay sourced parts, I wouldn’t use anything from eBay for my XKR even if you paid me to. The aggravation and time lost trying to make things right isn’t worth it .
the Porsche owners forums are full of the same experiences: in both substandard and counterfeit parts. The counterfeits are bearing the manufacturer’s logo stamping, but little else in resembling the original manufacturer part.
There must be a ton of money to be made in counterfeiting high end auto parts. A lot of effort seems to be spent doing so
