I have an '04 XK8 with xenon bulbs and no lamp washer. A rock broke the drivers side lens. I ordered a replacement without realizing the assembly for the no washer is different for xenon lights vs the halogen lights. I returned the assembly but have not been able to find the correct part except at the dealer - for $1900!!! All of the xenon versions I have found are the lamp washer. The halogen version is only $350. The most obvious difference I saw was the halogen version had reflective chrome material around the bulb whereas mine is matt grey.

It would be cheaper to buy both sides of the halogen version than the left side xenon. Will the existing xenon bulbs fit into the halogen headlight assemblies?
