I bought a XKR from 2002 from Califonia. We did complete renovation of this car and we are almost done, however there is still some little problems to be solved.
One of the problems is XENON headlights leveling system. It doesn't work .. I see no movement of the light while turning the ignition key. The xenon system is original btw.

How can i solve the problem? I have no idea where to find a level sensor and the lights module

Does any one had the same problem? The level of the right and left light is the same.

The fact that both sides don’t work seems odd to me. It’s my understanding, and I could be wrong, that each side was almost completely independent from the other, leveling sensors, motors, fuses, and I’m not sure on the controller. So if someone ore knowledgeable then me could both verify this, and think of a spot where they are linked, that would be your most likely culprit.

When end I first got my car both the light, and the leveler on one side didn’t work, but replacing the ballast fixed both. But that is not the same issue you have.

By the way your English was great in the first post. I seem to remember some other threads dealing with similar issues, a scan of the search function with “leveling headlight” limited to this sub may give you a place to start looking.

 

...But where are the level sensors in this car and the lights module? Looks like the problem is the module. That's
the point where the lights are linked.
