I,m getting ready to order new fuel pumps for my 02 xkr and wondering:

A. Has anyone purchased the special tools developed by Robert Krauss for this purpose... If so, are they worth while and if so, do you want to part with the ones you bought ??

B. What are the best value fuel pumps and what else should be replaced besides the pumps ??

The Denso pumps. Make sure you replace 2. Also the Fuel filter. with the desno pump should be a full kit, with additional wiring. some forums member had their old pumps burn out with the wiring too.

 

A clogged fuel filter will hasten the pumps demise. Jaguar recommends a 30K mile replacement interval. You should include that in the replacement procedure.
