You know you are young in tooth or heart when on a friday night you drop the top, turn trac off, put it in sport mode and hunt down unsuspecting hotrodders. Its been my passion most friday nights. Lots of mustang GT's and LS powered TA and z28's under the belt. Including one BMW 335.

My next stop is a lower pulley and having my blower ported. I cant see spending 6000 for a twin screw system.....yet.

I think I was 16 when I got my hands on that brand new Black Shadow. What a machine, once you got it started. That part was a unique experience. I never went real fast on it by myself, but riding double with him I saw 105 mph on the dial with both of us sitting up and I think there was some left. He said when he layed down it would do 130 mph. I tried looking for one just before I decided to build my own airplane. Had to make the decision as to which one I wanted the most. The airplane one.

Take care of the Vincent.

Please do! I'm sure there is a picture somwhere? We really want to see it.

The last "Vincent" I laid hands on was a Norvin with a Comet engine in a Featherbed frame, several moons ago.

Funny, i had a experiance on saturday when i was at the mall with my 10 years old daughter. When we left the mall i did notice two teenage boys following on bicycle. They managed to follow the 3 kilometeres to my home. At first i tought they were after my daughter, but when i stoped at home i asked them if there was a problem. No problem, they replied, just want to have a look at the Jag .
Ok i said, when you have worked (cycled) that hard to have a look, i will gladly give you a ride in it!.
I have got two new friends now, who think that Jaguar is the best in the world

46 here...the Jag was the car of my dreams, and I finally decided life is too short to NOT enjoy the convertible view! The Toyota is for family trips, but the Jag is for me.

It's funny how my shiny black Escalade becomes invisible to people when parked in the driveway next to the much older (and less costly) XK8. The kids would rather squeeze into the backseat of the Jag then ride in the Escalade. 14 years old and people think that it's brand new, truly timeless design.

It's one of the reasons I love the Jag. There is no car on the road that has its own true look the way the Jag does....and especially the XK8. And yes, even the newer, fancy toys seem to become invisible near the Jags.

I just got my fourth Jaguar convertible. This time I got an 2007 XK in Indigo Blue with Tan interior. Its one of the nicest looking cars on the road. In the past I have owned an 1995 XJS, 1997 XK8, 2001 XK8 and a 2002 XKR. And I am a young 62.

Smile 63 next month

Its rare that I do not get a compliment when I drive my XK. People stop and say "Like Your Car!". And why not, 99% of all newer cars look the same.
