DJPXK8, your 06-07-2011 post took the words right out of my 67 year old mouth...

22, I fell in love with the XK8 when I was 15, it was the car that got me interested in cars, I've been fortunate to own some very nice cars and of all of them my Jag takes 1st place - I've had it for over a year and still find myself standing and staring at it, just such a nice looking car.

Good for you. I guess not all young people think Jags are "old people" cars.

Here in the car capital of U.S.A. I hardly see any X100's anymore. Maybe 2 in the past 10 months, and I drive a lot everyday. In the morning commute today I saw a black X150 vert... very sexy car too! The driver looked to be late 30's.

64, drive 2000 XKR and 1989 XJRS. First car was a Jag Mk Vll 45 years ago. That ignited the passion for Jags but l regret to say that passion does not extend beyond the X100's.

You don't think the X150 coupe is sexy?? I'm debating whether to get that car or the X100 vert.

To an extent, l am sure the X150 is superior in most departments but visually l much prefer the X100.

75 with a 2006 XK8 convertible - widowed and starting to date again. The Jag is definitely a hit with the ladies, at least the ones with a little life left in them. Traded in a 1989 Mercedes 560 SL that I slowly rebuilt system by system. I miss that car, but I do not miss spending all the money on it that I did. The Jag has about 85,000 miles on it, and in the last 1 1/2 years of ownership, the only repair needed was a new set of plugs and coils.

Default About to Bring the Average Up!!

I will be 80 in February.

Going to be off the forum for a few weeks as I'm driving to Florida tomorrow from New England to play in the Roy Hobbs baseball tournament. I'm playing one week in the age 70 division, and one week in the age 75 division.

My wife offered me her 03 XK8 to drive down, but I'm taking my 2017 Corvette Grand Sport.

You are only as old as you let yourself feel.

Jack

Geez, I wish I could still see when I'm 80, let alone drive.
But by then, all the cars will probably drive themselves.
