Does anyone know the route of the coax antenna signal cable from the center dash console through the car to the trunk ?
NOT the power cable for the antenna motor - the thick coaxial aerial cable.
I need to splice into this cable to install a gadget into the armrest tray. I was hoping to find it along with the antenna motor power cable, which connects to pin 7 on the grey connector under the armrest tray, but I can't see it ! I'm guessing maybe it takes another devious route to avoid interference from other electrical equipment ? It would be really handy if it ran through the duct under the armrest but it just doesn't seem to be visible. Any hints or pics most welcome.
Silver 2005 XK8 in rather good condition with only 36,000 miles. I would post a photo but haven't worked out how to do that yet either !
