Default XK8 ABS Control Module Repair Source

2002 XK8. I have code C1095 on my ABS control module which is the Hydraulic Pump Control Circuit (burned out). My mechanic in Colorado had a good source for repair but that person recently retired. He has been checking others but some seem a bit unproven and since Covid it also seems many vendors that advertised repairing ABS control modules (some listed on earlier threads on this forum) are no longer in business.

Does anyone have a recent experience with a reputable source that did good work rebuilding a Jag ABS control module? If so, can you refer the source/link. Thanks in advance.

Default Good Experience

I sent mine to Module Repair Pros in Los Angeles. My car is a 2000 XK8. It solved the problem, life time warranty.

Other places that have successfully refurbished XK8 / XKR ABS modules include ASI in Tennessee (866-983-6688) and SIA in Illinois (800-737-0915)....

The cause of the C1095 is most likely cold solder joints on the circuit board of the ABS control unit. There is a lot of information on this topic here in this forum.

In fact, there is no point in sending the controller away for repairs because 90% of the work involves romoving and reinstalling the controller.
Who is able to do that will not have a a problem with two small solder joints.

Yup, the removal and installation of the module is most of the work. Then all you need is a hacksaw blade to open the module, solder the two points, then black RTV to close it up.
Just be careful and don't be in a hurry to screw it up and you should be fine.
I did mine myself and flushed the brakes when I reinstalled the module. Killed two birds with one stone.
