XK8 alarms tries to start dies
1998 XK8 set alarm with remote, but drivers door latch does not pull in.
Passenger latch cycles few times, then alarm sounds. Unlock all with key
and engine cranks and tries to start, but after a second or two at about
100 rpm it dies. Checked all fuse in both door areas and in the trunk
fuse box. Swapped fuel relay with other relay. Can feel fuel relay activate
and voltage goes through #7 20 amp fuse. Tried both ign keys, same result.
Any ideas??

Welcome to the forum. I can't offer any assistance on the door lock issue, but the non start is at this time probably due to bore wash.
Use the search function to get more info on bore wash or cylinder wash. The fix is to remove at least the four spark plugs on the right bank (easier) and put about 1/4 teas. oil in each cylinder. Place a rag over the head and turn the engine over a few seconds with the accelerator depressed all the way to distribute the oil. After cleaning the oil sprayed out the holes, put the plugs and coils back and try to start. Be ready for a lot of oil smoke.
If it still doesn't start, you may have other problems. Check list below:
