XK8 Alloys

Hi Can anyone help ?? I have a 1996 X300 XJ6 running on 225/55/16 alloys and want to fit 255/45/18 XK8 alloys 1) will they fit ?? 2) can i run my car with 255/45 without rubbing in the arches ??

I was able to put the 18" XJR wheels on my 95 XJ6.

call the Tire Rack or look on line .com they are masters at this
