xk8 drip strip seal
Please does anyone know the part number or where I can purchase the following.
On the XK8 fixed head drivers/passenger doors the windows retract from under a steel reinforced rubber u shaped seal that pushes onto the metalic grey drip strip above. I want to replace just the rubber push on seal as mine have corroded and bubbled at the ends. I have tryed my local jaguar specialist but he has nothing listed and says the grey metalic drip strip is now discontinued too. Please can anyone point me in the right direction to find replacements.
thanks all

According to my diagram there are two seals, an upper that is most of the seal and a lower that toward the front of the car.
Weatherstrip, Door Opening - Right - HJA5364AJ
Weatherstrip, Door Opening - Left- HJA5365AJ
Seal, Lower - left/right - HJA1650AD
Hope this is what you are looking for.

Greetings Jan,
I have a pair of good used upper window seals in stock. hlgeorge's part numbers are correct, and the Jaguar list price for each is $399...that means he can probably tell you where to get them for like $300. each. Mine are $200 for the pair, and I will include one of the lower seals at no charge if you need it. That part number was also correctly cited, and they list for $75.00. I only have one of those in stock, and it will fit either side of the car. The seals are coming from a 1997 coupe: the listing I referenced says that they are coupe only, and fit '97 through '06 XK8. Click on my screen name and send me a private message if you are interested.

jaguar seals
Thanks all for your help with this. I will have a look at the part numbers you have listed first before commiting as the prices seam rather expensive for just a reinforced rubber extrusion that is flocked on the inside. The jaguar specialist that I use thought that the seal I am after came with the metalic grey aluminium surround that fits just above which would explain the prices that you have quoted. I will let you know of my progress and thanks all again.

Hi chaps, I found this guy on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/rtay5993?ul_noapp=true I have fitted the top seal to my own car and they work perfectly, the cost was only £19. 00. He seems to be supplying lots more seals now so it's worth a look.
