Hey
I´m about to get together my XK8 but i have some little problems on the way.
One of the problems is the water drain hose which comes from the Gascap area. it goes down the left side of the trunk and should exit the trunk in driving direction behind the rear left wheel.
If i stick it through the hole it is so long that it would hit the exhaust pipe. I found some pictures on ebay (USA) where you can see the hose. The part that i marked is where i put it at the chassis (rubber grommet). I guess that makes sence but if i do so that pipe is to long.

Can someone take me a quick picture how it is located on your xk8? only a pic from below the car would be fine

That clip is missing. I took a different one so it goes the same way
problem solved.
