Smile XK8 Oil Cooler

I do hate to ask a dumb question. But I'm going to. Does my 2000 XK8 have an oil cooler? And if so, where is it?

Thanks guys.

EZ
The parts manual list oil coolers for 2000 and up, the location is lower front of radiator, you can look under the front bumper and see it.

In fact, if you've ever rubbed one of those concrete parking curbs in a parking lot, it may have been the oil cooler that rubbed it. It hangs too low (in my opinion) and because of its location it is susceptible to damage. The front bumper on the 2005 and 2006 XKs kinda protects it because the bumper extends down further.

Not all XK8s had them, some did some didn't. IMO an XK8 does not really need one unless you drive like a lunatic or go on the odd track. What you can fit instead is a bypass pipe that was fitted to XJ8s.

Well, I looked under and all I saw was the bottom of the air conditioner radiator. It went all the way across and all the way up to the top support. So, I guess I don't have an oil cooler which I consider as a plus. Just one more thing to go wrong and leak and if not needed great.

Thanks guys for the quick info.
