What a great asset to have this form! I have pulled some great information,
Can anyone advise how to remove the rear qt window trim pc on a 1999 XK8? I'm missing the passenger side, found one but I have to remove form donor car. Don't want to damage. Is there a best practice? Love the help...Mark

I must have missed your post in the New member Area - Intro section!
Is it the rear quarter glass waist rail trim on a Convertible or the gray fixed rear quarter glass trim on a Coupe you need to remove/refit?

I'm so sorry it is an XK8 convt, passenger side The waist rail trim that looks as if it must clip down on a metal flange at the top of the qt panel.
My right side is missing I don't know if that just snaps down with some type of pinch metal clip?
Thank you so much for asking...Mark

They just lift up and push down, there are no clips with them. Some members on the forum have ran into situations where somebody has glued them. This does create a problem usually destroying the trim. Welcome to the Forum.
