Hi guys
Need some help. In shopping for a spoiler for my XK8 I've noticed that some sellers specify certain model years. I thought that the external changes the model went through over the years were mainly in the front of the vehicle. Does anyone know if there were any changes to the rear of the vehicle and specifically if a spoiler for an XK8 will fit the entire year range?

Not sure about big changes, but in 2001 they changed the trunk plinth. It went from body color to chrome and added a button to open. I think the XKR model switched back in later years.

I am constantly surprised by the number of bits and pieces on these cars that are model specific and sometimes VIN specific. You should always check.

1997 thru 1999 conv. and coupes take the same part #FJE3019HA
2000 thru 2000- 05 coupe #FJE3019AA
2000 thru 2002 convert. #FJE3019JA
2003 thru 2006 convert. #FJE3019BA
With that said I believe a spoiler for a XK-8 and XKR will fit all of these.
I've never seen any reference to the contrary.
