I have a 1999 XK8 which I believe has an engine ECU problem. I have ordered a replacement on eBay which the vats number may not match. Can I program the ECU with the required VATS number.

Contact Automotive Scientific Inc. at autoecu.com. They will either exchange or rebuild your ECU for under $400.

 

I forgot to mention that will test the ECU for $55, and if it needs repair the test cost is included in the repair price.
