Default XK8 vs SType V8

I have located a 2000 S Type 4 lt V8,I beleave it is a couple BHP less but would it do the job in a 99 XK ?

I have done research on the two engines and so far have only came up with intake maifold differance,but still has the same desplasement ??

I don't understand why that matters. You can't really compare an XK and a S-Type, IMO.

I believe he is referring to just the engine.

They are very similar, they share the same, block, heads etc, you may find some differences with the ancillaries but you could use your XK items.

Yes I am talking about the engine only out of a 2000 S Type for a 97 to 2000 XK8,intakes are different but block etc must be the same??
