My mechanic is talking about shocks and bushings. Any money saving suggestions?

try Welsh for upper shock mounts,

if you need bushings - XK's unlimited has OE type upper wishbone for $26ea or you could go with poly and order direct from Powerflex

Do you have the adaptive suspension or non? makes a difference in price

Default 4.0 Fuel injector to fuel rail O rings

The following are a perfect fit for the upper O rings for the fuel injectors on the '99 4.0 XK8 (probably XJ8 as well).

Fel-Pro ES 70599 $3.99 at your local Advance Auto but available pretty much anywhere I suppose.

I saw on another thread that someone suggested taking the high pressure power steering hose to a hydraulic shop and having it fabricated. Does anyone know of a non eom replacement? 01 XK8.

Default Fabircate Hose

Probably best to go with the fabrication idea. Most hydraulic shops are less expensive than you might think. Good Luck.
I'm looking at the same problem on my '97 XK8

I have a 97, I would buy the high pressure as the new style route better and rebuild low pressure, there are some guys that have done the low side repairs themselves if you don't want to replace. I was lucky to find new in the box parts from a guy for cheap that sold prior to repairing for cheap and change both of mine. Let me know if you need any hints. Hardest part for me was r&r at pump of low pressure.

I replaced the high pressure line on my '97 two years ago. I used the new style hose. It was a PITA for a 67 yr old guy.

To clarify what I found hard was the reservoir to pump hose, after 20 years it was so hard that it would not pull off after removing clamp. I had to reach in there and cut it off and that was a real bear, was same at reservoir. After all new hoses not a drop of oil, however I would suggest keeping an eye on quick connect.

Default Transmission oil for ZF6HP26

Not only did it cure the chirp on my 2005 tranny, but it costs a whole lot less and is used by Ford in those of its vehicles that use the same transmission: Mercon SP

Default Windscreen wiper refills

Had problems finding replacement wiper blades for my 2003 XK8 that my OEM airfoils could attach to, so I decided to simply replace the inserts (the only wear part). I found perfect fit inserts at O'Reilly's Auto Parts (here in the U.S.).

TRICO Part No. 45-205

Good find, Bill! I haven't seen "inserts" in many years.

We had Airfoils? Didn't know that. I'd probably leave them off anyway - I like to see the bonnet in my view.

Default Coolant Reservoir

The Uro Parts #MJD440AB is a direct replace for the OEM expansion tank or coolant reservoir. It comes with the cap and level sensor. It is a plug and play.

Just found this thread Today. Great idea.
However I got lost somehow. I'm looking for a continuation of the springs and shocks question.
I'm looking for rear springs for my 2004 Coupe (non-adaptive). Does anyone know of any Ford Interchange possibilities? I know Ford loves to use the same parts across the board as possible.
Seems I can only buy either OEM springs (very pricey) or "lowering" springs (which I don't want either) here in the States. I have replaced the front springs with an after market pair that I bought from a parts store in the UK. Now the Coupe looks like it's trying to do a "wheely".
Let me know if you have any ideas.

Yes, you are correct the #41921 is the right number. I pulled the original number from the receipt and it seems the clerk listed the wrong item.
