Default XKR Manual Conversion

I know it's been discussed many times but I'll go for it anyway.

Going to put an XKR 4.0 litre engine into my XJS racing car. I've got a 6 speed S Type gearbox. Looking at an XJR in the week.

There's an Aluminum flywheel listed for a 4.2. Is it the same as a 4.0 flexi-plate does anyone know?

Can I use the Jag ECM? I know it needs to talk to the gearbox but I won't be running Abs Trac etc.

I'm wondering if it's easier to junk the lot and get a standalone ECM. The problem with that is the Jaguar electronic throttle body.

Interestingly I've read about the twin screw conversion and I believe he's still running the standard Jag ECM.
AVOS is making great power and using a standard ECM? Is this right?

Any help and advice greatly recieved.
Once completed I'll be happy to share costs etc of the conversion.
If I can do it with the standard Jag ECM this will help other users if they want to convert their own car.

Thanks for reading.
Mel

Thanks enderle. Tom is on my list of people to speak to Monday. I had read that thread.

As a side note does anyone know the weight of a XKR engine vs a V12.
My engine has a lot of ancilliaries removed. I'm interested in the weight saving of a v8.
