Has anybody recently purchase a MJB4519AF radiator hose? Did all my hoses and radiator two years ago but at the time could find this one hose oem so had to use a URO brand replacement. I don't like URO due to their quality issues , and this hose did not disappoint, brand new it had a seepage when cold on a hard plastic section where the oem one is cast or some sort of aluminum looking allow. Because the cara is not used often and as it warms, the leak seals itself i let it be with regrets. Recently decided to change it with oem, and bough one from Harpers Jaguar in TN. It came on a Jaguar bag with Jaguar labels BUT it looks like the URO replacement and it has the same plastic designed not the factory cast/ allow section as oem.

Has anybody else had same , Is this normal for any Jaguar replacement part or maybe im getting counterfeit parts with “Jaguar “labels?

 

Is it counterfeit if Jaguar is using them, URO, as a supplier ?

downgraded quality ? Yes.

counterfeit ? Probably not.

it won’t be the first time an over the counter part is more cheaply made than an OE or NOS part.
