Default XKR Overriders

I've looked high and low online (ebay, Gaudin, Merriam, etc) for some XKR overriders so I can do the three piece screen conversion (I like the forward slant look), but I haven't had any luck at all. www.britishparts.co.uk had some XK8 ones, but I have those already lol. Any ideas? Is there a way I can check auto salvage yards online?

I suppose I could fanagle the forward slant with the XK8 overriders, or just mount the grills straight up, but my head starts spinning when I consider these kinds of options . I shudder to think what XKR overriders cost from Jaguar!

Thoughts anyone?

There are a few sites like the one below for used parts. You fill out a request and they get back with you. This is only one go to a search engine and type in "used auto parts yards" This is only one fill out four to six and see what type of reply's you get.

It's the cover over the bumpers in the grill area.

I am not quite sure what you need but if you are looking for used overriders you can have mine for free. I removed them and replaced with a mesh grille.

Just to mention, the XK8 and XKR share the same over riders, the only difference is the XKR has a fill in piece where the XK8 bar went (this is a seperate piece)

I suppose it maybe possible that in the US they maybe different but here in the UK they are identicle, there was a very slight change in design back in 2000(ish) but apart from that.

I fitted a 3 piece grill just last week on to an XK8 and I did not change the over riders

Interresting. Did you make the grill yourself? How did you fill the bar gap on the XK8 overriders?

Mine were damaged by the previous owner (he drilled holes for a license plate), so I could use them for sure. Thanks! I'll follow XKRacer's lead and use them for the conversion.

The grille I used was OE, I often have a few in stock from previous conversions I have done, this is why I also have dozens of over riders too. All I did was use the fill in pieces I mentioned ealier, let alone that the grill covers most of the hole anyway.

Here's one I did earlier.
