Apollos won't fit the XKR.

@Jochem00

Am actually using an even bigger tire (285/35/20), which is almost 2% larger (and almost 4% compared to stock), and only when new this one is spot on measured with a GPS/Dyno on my speedo.

Don’t know anyone in the Netherlands for cats i'm afraid, it’s either the UK or US, and if you have cash to burn there is always Arden in Germany.

J00;

Funny you had a snap in front of the Casino already.....looks very sharp....a little more low key than a yellow F-40....thanks.

Those white out plates must be handy when you are blasting past the cameras at the end of the tunnel....have any extra's?

Avos; Thanks for the great info as always.

cheers,

jj

Not all XKR's have brembos (my 02, or the op's xkr don't, for example), so appolos will fit OK. And even if you do have bigger brembos, you can always use spacers!

Amazing pics from Monaco... I also spotted the Fisker Karma to the right of the Ferrari F40... one of the few 2012 luxury cars my N/A XJ can keep up with

Great acceleration times. You know, car mags always noted the same acceleration times between XKR 4.0 and 4.2s, I guess the 4.2 wasn't as suited to the XK. The newer XJR (X350), though, is way faster than the older one (X308).

I dunno I think they might fit, there are some 18s that will fit over Brembos, like Hydras, but all 18s can with 15mm spacers, as the Apollos are 19s I would of thought they would of done...

But I wont deny I am not 100% sure

If you want to record road trips, a camera mount gives a much steadier image. This is a UK site but similar devices are widely available:

CAMCORDER MOUNTING BRACKETS

Without the camera to worry about, you should be able to shave a couple of tenths off your time.
