Default XKR Workshop Manual 2005/6

Hi all,

I have the JTIS software but it only goes to 2004 and I notice some big differences when looking at the suspension on the XK8 X100 2004 'v' my XKR X100 2005/6.

Does anyone know where I can download the later info or complete workshop manual for XKR X100 2005/6

I know there is previous posts on manuals but I can't find anything relating to this.

The 2004 JTIS you already have is the last in that format before Jaguar moved to OnLine manuals by subscription.

As an alternative, the later 2003 - 2006 Workshop Manual is available from a number of sources as a PDF.

XKR Workshop Manual 2005/6-workshop-manual.jpg

Not as interactive as JTIS but it should have the additional information you need.

That's odd... suspension has been basically unchanged in design from 97 to 06. I've used the JTIS for all my 03 suspension repairs. Do you have a specific example?

Basically unchanged, yes but for example the lower wishbone is 2 piece on the XK8 2004 model, on the XKR 2005/6 it's one piece.

Graham, thats a teaser !, it's exactly the manual I need, can't find anywhere to download it though, do you have any URL's ?

I'm surprised to hear your XKR Final Series Lower Wishbone is different from my XK8 Final Series:

There is no reference to this in the 2003-06 Workshop Manual.

My google-fu is pretty good. I couldn't find this document anywhere that didn't want to charge for it.

Neither could I ............... but it was little more than the cost of a gallon of fuel over here.

Default Thanks... still a mystery though

Thanks to all, I have downloaded the 2003-2006 manual now and the lower wishbone is still shown the same as a previous post pointed out, ie it's shown as 2 pieces.

I'll take a photo of mine and post it in the next few days, I'll put it up on the ramp.

EDIT: I meant share the link, not share (i.e. give away) the manual, but it's ok, I have purchased it from here.
