i mate,zx1 is a friction eliminator, its not a oil additive as such, but please do look it up on line its very interesting.it can also be used in the fuel and water to help the pump,it clings to all moveing parts to stop friction and wer.

no snake oil in my car, anywhere. BG44K is the only 'unplanned' product that my car gets.

oh, and 'engine restore' on the 4.0 engines that have lost some compression. Its the only two aftermarket products i've observed jaguar techs and other knowledgeable mechanics recommend in our vehicles.

Here an interesting comment from Opieoil in the UK.
Extralube ZX1 - GT-R Register - Official Nissan Skyline and GTR Owners Club forum

Just use a high quality oil (ie M1 ow40) and treat your engine with respect, and it should be long lived. There are other things to worry about before your engine is worn...

As soon as I looked at their website, I immediately thought 'snake oil' instead of 'micro oil'.

Been going 15 years - they would have made a fortune during the Nikasil era if ZX1 was so miraculous!
