Land Rover starter. The electric motor on top of this starter would be the determining factor if it will physically fit as you can tell it looks to be another inch longer??

I take it back, there’s no block off plug for a non-EOC engine.

The red circle shows one of the four rubber grommets.
The yellow circle shows a small part of the part load breather. You need to be careful removing this piece from the valve cover and back by the throttle body. The part load breather can and will break very easily if it’s original.
The green circle is the fuel line return. Your going to need a few fuel line disconnect tools. They should have then at any auto parts store.

This is the part load breather. That thingy on the right side is actually the tool to remove it. The very early cars came with it. Yours likely won’t have it b

This is the underside of the plenum covers that you want to clean. That is the tab that goes in the grommet.

First order of business is to order this part. I got it off of Amazon. You can also find this and the brake booster tube on eBay. Just need to get the part number for your vacuum tube then search for a used one??

You can remove the remainder of the old o ring and plastic collar. Take this new o ring and the new plastic locking collar and insert it into your old brass insert still inside.

This is what comes in that kit. That’s a very specific size o ring. Finding one “close enough” won’t do it. TRUST ME! You can toss the brass insert away as you won’t need it. Take the old o ring out of your engine. Make absolutely sure there is no remnants of the old broken o ring inside.

You unlock the black plastic tube by pushing down on the shoulder of the locking collar. Push in on each side going back and forth or use needle nose pliers to push in on two sides of the shoulder while gently pulling out the vacuum tube.

Finally getting around to installing the Brembo brakes on my 03’ SV8. Once the front knuckles are off the car and bearing/hub are out of the way, it was much easier than fighting it on the car. First drill the existing hole with a 31/64ths drill bit and follow it with a 1/2” drill bit. I’d highly recommend doing this with a drill press vs freehand unless you have absolute steady hands. Also, very sharp and durable drill bits. 14mm x 1.50 tap used. Grade 10.9 bolts from ACE Hardware.

This oem Jaguar coil spring isolator would be just a few dollars more than aftermarket. This is on eBay.

KC, take a look at these 2 more closely. If you have a telescopic mirror (mechanics mirror), take the center panel behind the throttle body off before heading out for a long drive. Preferably while the engine is still running, use the mirror and a really bright flashlight, check for any wetness or slow drips. I have also seen expansion tanks with hairline cracks leak on the underside where you don’t normally see them and because the heat accumulates directly under the hood with the engine off,

We have a winner!!!

I thought that circuit board looked a little familiar. I just needed a bit of time to investigate it.

2 bolts on the left and 1 on the right need removed. The one at the top is the fob antenna that needs to be unscrewed after you get the 3 bolts removed that hold the entire assembly in place.
