AC temps
I live in Las vegas...
I recently changed out the Dccv heater control valve. the problem of idle temperatures have gone down from 90+ degrees to steady 77 degrees. drive temp on the ac are at 45-52 degrees. The problem still is that the left side is not the same as the right side. passengers side is still 7-10 degrees warmer. i did clean off the in cabin temp sensor near the ignition.
are these temps a little high due to me just being in 101+ temps?

Have had my 2008 s type for one year and experiencing similar a/c issues and exploring replacing heater control valve. Haven't done it yet.... Passenger side warm and driver's side cool, not cold. It does get cooler as idling gets higher as I driving on the fwy. Any suggestions out there. Mechsnic(expensive one) diagnosed the a/c condenser????

If you read some more you will see that running a bad DCCV can and does damage the CCM or the RCCM if you have navigation.
The good thing is the module can be fixed. Either by sending it off or several people have taken it apart themselves and found the burned traces and soldered in jumper wires.
Other possibility as JagV8 said is you got a bad DCCV. It does happen but it's not common.
You can also have a temperature sensor that's bad and you have 3 in the interior of the car in addition to the one you cleaned above the ignition key switch.
Does the external temperature read correctly?
