Default p-codes and limp home mode

ok so i have a 2005 s-type 3.0L with recurring "restricted performance" mode activation. i'm pretty sure it's a vacuum leak i cannot find (mind you all i have is brake kleen lol) i dont have a scan tool to read live data so i can't really sensor chase to narrow it down. but here's the list:

p0171
p0174
p0300
p0301
p0304
p0305
p1316

my crappy 50 dollar scan tool doesnt tell me what each code is so i can't narrow down the presumable misfire codes i have. currently planning on replacing both intake gaskets (upper and lower) and probably the MAF as well as the battery. she's got 89k miles and i cannot verify any previous maintenance aside from an oil change and a new air filter a few months back which i did after the MIL came on. is there any common issue i should be on the lookout for? also if anyone could give me definitions to all the codes that'd be great (i believe the p0171-0174 are lean codes and i think the 0300 codes are misfires but i'm not certain). again thanks for the help.

thanks. my current solution (as soon as i can afford it) is going to be both upper and lower intake gaskets, injector o rings, plugs and coil packs, and a new MAF. probably going to replace the battery too since it's like 10 years old. hopefully it all works out.

Boy oh boy, sounds like you are going to be tossing darts blindfolded. Unless you are running an over oiled K&N air filter you probably are throwing your IIRC $120.00 away. The '05 MY 3.0 engines are pretty bullet proof. Also they are very well documented with real time pictures "FREE OF CHARGE" here at jaguarforums.

Have you a record of replacing your IMT o-rings? I personally would start your search for resolution here:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ck-pics-49214/

Next I would go to this link provided by myself as well:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ics-faq-52720/

Good luck, let us know which way SAVES you the most money.

But what do I know....

Do yourself a favor and heed Rick's advice above. The 3.0 engine is famous for throwing misfire codes when the factory IMT O-rings begin to leak. They were poorly designed and tend to lose their ability to seal as the years and miles pass by. The new-and-improved replacement IMT O-rings fix that problem. Get a couple of them and replace them via the short route that Rick posted years ago. Very inexpensive and you should replace them if you know that your car is still running the factory version. That effort alone may resolve all of your problems....

10 years isn't too terrible, though. Something's gonna fail at that age...

Think how lucky you are that others have been this path before you

well i wont complain i only paid 4k for it at 75k miles. i'm aware of the imt rings but i also am fairly certain shes running factory plugs and coils and word around the shop is they have a tendancy to throw coil packs so figures hell since i'm doing one thing i may as well do everything i can get away with in my driveway.

Overlooking the cost, changing them isn't crazy at all. Slight hassle is aftermarket coils are chancy and OE costly. Plugs are due every 70K miles (or 7 years).

yeah i wont be spending a lot on the coil packs, but will keep the old ones as spares. right now my main concern is getting back and forth to work without dying in the middle of traffic.
