Default Clicking J-Gate shenanigans

I've had a clicking J-Gate ever since I bought my car four years ago. I pretty much ignore it. But recently, and only once, I hit the brake pedal and it would click click click constantly. I stopped, reset the car by turning it off and on again, and it's back to the single click.
This made me realize that I needed a fix. I know the culprit switch can be replaced.

1. Where can I get it?

2. Is it a simple pull out, push in new one in affair?

Thanks.....

flyrr: This thread shows you how to open the J Gate and replace the micro switch:
How to repair annoying click from auto J-gate with pictures

The replacement switch in my X-Type is an OMRON SS-5GL2. They sell for $1-2 on eBay from China / Hong Kong. Here's one example: 1pcs New Omron SS 5GL2 Limit Switch 3 Pins Microswitch com NC No | eBay

It's not an exact match to the factory original, but it fits and works perfectly, and it's nice to finally be rid of that annoying click at red lights.

I completely removed the electronic Solenoid and all the sensors going to my J-Gate. I got a few error codes after that but the car still runs fine. I unplugged everything there and it was no big deal.

Default J-Gateclick

When you unplugged the electronics to your J-gate, does you car now shift out of park without the brake being pressed?
