Default Question: 2016 XJL AWD and Kasuga rims

Could anyone confirm whether or not the 20 inch Kasuga rims would be compatible with the 2016 XJL AWD?

Go to Jaguar's website and build a 2017 exactly like your 2016, except when you get to the choice of wheels see if 20's are available as an option. My guess is that they'll fit, even with AWD - but I'm not sure.

Default Not avail as choice when I build XJL awd

from the accessories page, I can see that Kasugas are not available for XJL AWD with separate rear seats. I assume that for regular style of rear seats (bench),these should work. But I was hoping that someone could confirm that.

I put an aftermarket staggered figment on my AWD XJL. It was stressed to me that changing wheels/tires on an AWD car is a little different than a 2WD car. And it is important that the diameter is the same on the front and rear so that you get the same revs/mile or kilometer in order to keep the computer from thinking one wheel is spinning or not spinning at the same rate. I was told this can easily throw a code, or worse, do some pricey damage. So as long as the Kasuga's are the same all around you should be great. If there is a front and rear size make sure you get the exact right size tires to make the computer happy. And most importantly if you do go with the Kasuga's post a pic!

IMHO the Kasuga wheel should fit fine as they are available in the SWB XJ. Many of the XJs my dealer gets are ordered with rims that are not normally supplied on that model. If you have a good dealer he can put the code for those wheels in the order sheet and there may be a charge for that and for the wheels.

Default Done deal. Pics attached.

The swap completed. Note that this change requires some re-programming to account for the increase in wheel size. While I really liked the sporty design of the Toba rims, I prefer the less aggressive look of Kosugas. Plus, the larger wheels look more appropriate on such a long car as XJL.
Before any changes
With tinted windows, but on the original 19 inch Tobas
With new shoes

I have the Kasugas on my XJL and I agree; they just look more appropriate on that car!
Enjoy!

Hello All - Neebie here, I had just put an order in for 2016 XJL Loire Blue color, the car has 20 inch Kasuga Wheels and quilted London Tan interior. The color of the car above is same as Loire Blue? I wanted Dark Saffire, but dealer information sheet says Loire Blue, I am hoping it is the same. Dealer says it is the same color.

If the color codes are identical, they're the exact same colors. The dealer may have told you that they are the same color because they are very close and didn't want to lose the sale. Regardless, you're going to love it! Nice, classic color combination.

Thanks for the response, the color code on the dealer order sheet is IAM (the number one, AM).
