Either the cable broke if it goes to the floor or the ball end came out of the throttle. If its stuck like bob linked you on the tsb, and you pushed it to the floor forcing it. You just bent the crap out of the bracket and streached the cable

Open the hood and check the throttle "linkage" on the top of the throttle body.
It's the driver side of the car right out in plain view. What you describe points to a problem in this area and if the throttle cable is broken or disconnected or the throttle assembly improperly installed it won't operate. Have you had recent work done on your car?
If the gas pedal sticks at off-idle then Bob Gauff's advice would apply.
