Power Window Fuse Location?

So...keep in mind that my experience is with a 1987 XJ6. On my car the fuse panels are under the dash, one panel on each side. The head light panel is under the hood, drivers side, midway towards the front.
The 87 XJ6 has the fuse listings on the fuse panel access door. For some help on this, you may want to go to www.captainjaguarscathouse.com They have free electrical downloads. It's where I found mine.

The Control Unit for the Series 1 is under the kick panel, in the left hand foot well. You'll have to remove the kick panel, under the pull out vent, to access it.
A lot of the time this is an area that gets water in it, and the control boxes either rust or get bad connections...
Here is a photo of the part you are looking for...
(The actual fuse panel on the car is behind the gauges. They are accessed by removing some thumb screws on the front. The whole gauge panel hinges forward. None of these fuses are tagged as having any bearing on the windows, though)
Cheers,

apologies from bringing an old thread to life
All four of my windows died. 1972 Series 1 XJ6. The right rear was dragging and I believe it tripped the circuit breaker. I found the relay behind the kick panel and opened it up to reveal two relays and a circuit breaker. Is there any way to reset the circuit breaker or am I replacing it with a 30amp fuse?

in the Series 2 and maybe Series 3, there is a Power Window circuit breaker (I believe) to the right of the passenger side fuse box, under the dash. you have to remove the under-dash Panel to see a number of components there.
I have never messed with it so I am not 100% on this, just posting it in case someone else is familiar with it. The picture below is a Series 2 XJ-6.

Have been wrestling with driver's window switch for a long time now. Cleaned contacts, etc. Intermittent.
Swapped it with another switch. Blew a fuse, breaker or cooked a relay, I believe.
Can't find location or any to save my rear. Looking for thermal breakers.
Kick panels, behind counsel vents, under dash, under glove box. Nothing.
Below is my Series 2 RHS which I think is the same location as Jose's goodies pictured above.
Factory manual I think shows thermal breakers and a relay but no location.
EDIT - HOLD UP - JUST FOUND SOMETHING THAT I THINK IS GOING TO BE DELIGHTFULLY EMBARRASSING. Watch this space...........

Look under the rear seat. I think Series IIs have some relays there....not sure

The pic Jose put up is a Series III. Surely similar in some ways but probably different in others.

I did find where I wired the window switches wrong based on pictures I had taken.
Back to square one. Bummer.

I haven't gone back in to see what I did wrong, so I'm watching this thread closely too see if you might also have a hint where I could look when I get to it.

Remember that our Italiano friend had both a Series II and a Series III
Note the cruise control module.
Series II cars did not have cruise control. Series III cars did.

PS:
Here's the original photo array, clearly marked as "Series III"

Not trying to pick nits. Just don't want Series II owners wasting time looking for things based on a Series III photo
