Coolant bleed system.

Coolant bleed system.
The 1988 XJS I have, after cleaning the system and adding the coolant, there started a leak, I know where the leak is but have no idea what the part is called. Just under the PCV valve canister container there is a short hose from the bleed system to that part. Is there someone who could let me know what it is, and, if it is a single part that can be replaced.
Thank you,

It might be hard to envision this IN the car, but is this what you mean?

I had the same happen and executed the same fix several years ago. Still holding !
It's amazing what a massive shower of hot coolant will do to a freshly detailed engine bay.

Item #1 in this illustration?

Part EAC4191. Discontinued but there might still be some floating around. Or find a good used one. Try EverydayXj.com
Yours might be repairable if not too badly rusted
The hoses are just straight sections of ordinary coolant hose. Your local auto parts store can fix you up

That hose connects on one end to the unit I sent a picture of further back in this thread - to the housing for the thermostat (pic in post 2 or 3 I think). The other end connects to a pipe (similar to the one you described) that goes across the front of the engine that has a filler CAP on a section that points straight up towards the hood. There are two short hoses like the one in the link above, on either end of that coolant cross pipe. Two hoses like this/that on either end. And yes, they will leak.
I know it's not easy BUT it will pay off to slow down a bit to really try to describe what's your seeing as best ya can. Sometimes, on this end, it can be tough to interpret a quickly written set of ideas. Jus say'n
Can you post a photo of what your looking at?

The hose on the UNDERSIDE of the cross pipe connects to the Water Pump, on the suction side.
If that connector metal section is corroded/leaking, you need either a cross pipe Assembly, a water pump, or the hose that joins the 2 items, about 1 1/2" diameter., there are no other items in that area.
