refilling coolant after leak
Hi Guy's....I just repaired a broken coolant system in my 2003 Jaguar S-type 3.0 litre. It appears to me that the coolant that was lost is not being replaced by adding coolant to the plastic resevoir. When the engine temperature began to climb above it's normal mark I shut it off and decided it would be smart to get some help. Is there a procedure for adding coolant and also getting any air pockets out of the system??? Sure could use some good advice......Thanks...........Dan
I have not been able to find any info on bleeding the coolant system so far. I have done quite a bit of research on the internet and it seems that it is necessary to bleed the air out of the system but no one seems to know how to do it.
Top of page beside New Posts is Search...open and type in something like "bleed procedure or bleeding coolant system"
eventually you will get something, be persistant.
Bleed Value or Proceedure for 2000 S 3.0
This is one thread I found with my first search.
Good luck
