If you do some searching here on the forum you will find many post about replacing the top. I did this job a few months ago on my '9o.
I can tell you that the pad is not available from anyone that I could find. I ended up making a new one from a more modern materiel. I will try to find the details and post it here as soon as I can.

I had my pad made at a local trim shop for 150.00. There are all kinds of opinions, advice, yet all I can say is get ready for a job. You will in all likelihood find that most, if not ALL of the tabs that hold the pad and the cable that goes through the pad have rusted away. I made new tabs from rigid aluminum yet bendable, and riveted the pieces on. Buy ALL new cables. They will be shot. As a mater of fact, buy two of the rear ones just in case you break one (as I did). There are several more "tricks" to it, but it can be done. It will take two people to get the top around the track at the rear, and I found that a mixture of dishwashing liquid sprayed on the top when placing it, as well as tightening it helps far more than you can imagine. The only thing I look back on in doing "wrong" was not centering the top dead on before spraying the adhesive. You will need a crown stapler, and a box of 1/4" stainless staples
