2004 XKR Portfolio 47K Miles For $16,500 Anyone Wants Better Act Really FAST !
Heads Up If anyone wants a Portfolio Edition XKR they will let it go for $16500. They only made 100 of these in the Jupiter Red Color. Thought I would share with the community.

Color combo is not a choice with the Portfolio--it is either blue exterior with slightly clashing blue interior or red exterior with horribly clashing orangey/red interior. So if you don't like those color options don't be looking for a Portfolio.

You could always have the car wrapped. I have been thinking of having my wheels done in matte black.
Or this.
Although it looks rather good on this.
However, the part I find most interesting is that they have the 'Allen' Key, or Hex Head, Top Latch Manual Release Tool in the Cockpit at the ready. This would lead me to believe there is something wrong with the Top, or it is just starting to leak at the Top Latch Ram. It also lists the vehicle as having Adaptive Cruise Control, which is does not, as the switch for the Forward Alert is not on the Knee Bolster next to the Valet Switch, and the Radar Module is not behind the Nose Cone, unless it has been painted body color and it cannot be seen, also the Follow Mode Radio Buttons are not on the side of the Cruise Control Switch-Pack.

The 05-06 xkr's are the most collectibles, and prices reflect it. From my understanding, these special editions where just appearance packages. They really didn't include any upgrades over stock

06 Model had the Victory edition. But in terms of true collectibles 01 Silverstone and 04 Portfolio they made smaller numbers of these vs the Victory Edition. I checked the prices and the prices reflect this. Keep in mind the Detroit Wheels are on both the Silverstone and Portfolio which are the best wheels for the X100 model in my opinion.

I love the XK series but I just don't see them gaining in the collector community. The prices are still soft and tend to take a long time to sell. Automatic 2+2's historically are not the hottest in the collector car world. The current trend is for ultra low mileage examples (sub 10k) of all marques. Those may start to gain as most X100s are pretty high mileage.

That car has been on the market for 4 months and the consensus in this thread is the "Special" edition models have little to no extra value not to mention the Red and Blue Portfolio's are not a very attractive color combo, IMHO, however your are certainly welcome to your own opinion.
Just don't expect everyone else to drink the KOOL AIDE.

Everyone has an opinion. I owned a couple XKR's and now I have a Jupiter Red Portfolio. The others I owned in the past they were awesome. But the tan and cream leather with the standard brown wood grain gave them a classical feel. Don't get me wrong I loved the classical feel of my other XKR's I once owned but I was yearning for something more modern. I must say the Portfolio Edition gave me the same car with a more modern feel. With this being said my Portfolio with the 2 toned leather black and red with the best grey wood grain combo with Recaro Racing Seats sitting on 20's I must say it puts the X100 at another level by far. One thing about this Portfolio edition it feels so modern in fact it feels like a brand new car. Think about it most modern cars on the market are using 2 toned interiors especially the F-Type. In fact some people think this is a brand new car thats how modern the Portfolio is. I was on a quest of getting a Portfolio XKR for about 6-7 years. I went on vacation last year and for the first time I noticed a Portfolio XKR. I knew right then and there I must get one and when I returned I did. In person the Portfolio is a cut above and the best model in the X100 with the modern feel. I don't care what anyone else says but I own one and this Portfolio Edition by far is the best ever X100 I ever owned. Feels good riding in a modern feel X100.
