Default Fuel Injector Retaining clip

I recently sent my fuel injectors out for a good cleaning and I am about to install them. I have been looking for a set on retaining clips but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Does anybody have a source for them or do I need to reuse the old ones. I did find them at a store in the UK, but I got to believe they should be available everywhere. They were also about £4.82 each. I think that is about $7.00 each. That seems high even for a Jaguar. I did read in a forum for another make of car that you really don't need them but I'm not sure that is correct. Has anyone out there found a source for these.
Thanks

The XK8 has a vacuum in the injector area attempting to suck them in so no clip is needed. The R has compressor pressure there and that is what the clips are for.

Everything is high for the Jaguar.

This is a clip that holds the injector onto the fuel line. I can't see the injector falling out once all is in place and bolted in. One of my clips is in bad shape so we will give it a try without it.
Thanks

See Jaguar Parts - Direct JPLV Porsche Parts.com

Should be a $5.05 list price dealer part.

Sorry, thought it was the Supercharged clip that retains the injector into the manifold.

My car '99 4.0
Hi;
Just did mine. No need to buy new ones unless old ones are damaged. Just clean them up and your set to go. Install them in the fuel rail first. With the clips. Very hard afterwards.
I just listed a new post yesterday with instructions.

Good luck

I replaced my aux coolant pump and reinstalled the overflow tank. The fitting at the bottom of the overflow tank, discussed is leaking slowly. I replaced the o ring to no avail. I have not removed the clip and it clicked when reinstalled and it appears pushed all the way in. Any thoughts?
