Happy 60th: Jaguar Classic is Making Six Matched Pairs of E-Types

Along with the special paintwork, the announcement states: “Each E-type 60 Edition will feature a number of 60th anniversary commemorative design details created in conjunction with Jaguar Design Director Julian Thomson.” What those details will include is anyone’s guess at this point, but expect some plaques and badging.

Given that the demo machines were pre-production cars, they likely featured some small details which didn’t make it to the assembly line, and it would be neat if some of those minor differences were woven back into design. There’s sure to be more info on the intricacies of the E-Type 60 cars as they’re produced, so stay tuned for updates.
