‘Jaguar Tri-Fest’ to Launch in the U.K. this Summer
New triathlon event combining sport, music and Jaguar driving experiences is set to take place July 20 & 21 in England.
Billed as the first sporting festival of its kind to launch in the U.K., Jaguar Tri-Fest has announced Sport Relief as its official charity partner.
Sport Relief, alongside headline sponsor Jaguar, will be working closely with the Tri-Fest founders to deliver the event experience. Set to take place in Windsor, England (home to the London 2012 Olympics) on July 20 and 21, Jaguar Tri-Fest is expected to attract thousands to the two-day event, which combines triathlon with live concert performances, high-end glamping, and a Jaguar driving experience in the carmaker’s latest models.
“This is Jaguar’s first Triathlon partnership and we are delighted to play our part in helping grow the sport in the U.K. by not only bringing a new event to the Triathlon calendar, but one that appeals to all abilities and families,” said Anthony Bradbury, Marketing Director at Jaguar Land Rover U.K. “In addition to dynamic driving experiences for guests, we will also be providing vehicles from the award-winning Jaguar range to the event operations team, for use throughout the festival. Triathlon is a natural fit for the Jaguar brand: the “Art of Performance” is about exciting the senses and delivering moments to remember, just as Tri-Fest will undoubtedly do.”
“From the initial planning stages of Jaguar Tri-Fest, there was one charity we were particularly passionate about and wanted to get onboard,” added Chad James, Jaguar Tri-Fest’s co-founder. “Today, we are thrilled to announce that our official charity partner for 2019 is Sport Relief. …Their vision is to create a just world free from poverty, and we believe we can truly help to make a difference by raising much-needed funds through Jaguar Tri-fest.”
