Hey all. Just found a 2001 S-type with very low mileage. I know I want to upgrade the radio first thing. I did try searching but all the options I find are from very old threads and the products are not made any more. So I want to put a double din unit in there. From the threads I read most should fit with little mods. I am looking for am/fm, iPhone interaction, and usb input. Nav would be nice but I would assume I need to install an antenna somewhere for that. I am looking for suggestions on what to get. I would also like to retain the audio controls on the steering wheel. I just want something that will look clean. A couple things with the car are it definitely has Bluetooth for phone. There is a microphone up by the drivers visor. Also there is a phone button with numbers located where a change tray would normally be. Pretty sure its none premium sound. And lastly it has a CD button but I looked everywhere for a player or changer and there is nothing. That completely baffles me. Thanks for any suggestions. Again I tried searching and found some good info but most of Kenwood or Alpine units were outdated and not produced anymore.

 

Wow been posted for days and nothing.....................Never mind purchased a Pioneer AVH-W4500. If anyone can tell me where they could find or made a trim plate for this radio that would be great. width wise there will be a pretty big gap.
