ACM installed Current Gen iPod does not work with it..

I got the ACM installed in my 04' XJ8 with Nav, everything works fine except my current Gen iPod Nano nor 1st Gen iPhone do not work with it.. Any body got any suggestions? is there an update the dealer can do to fix it?

Was it dealer installed? If so how much did you pay?
