Rebuilt Amplifiers?
Hey everyone, my 04 XJR is being a typical jaguar in which ALL the electronics seem to be going one by one. This time it's the amplifier on the premium sound system... Jaguar tells me that it is for sure the problem, and for a new one is $1200. I dont have that much for just the radio, so im looking to get it rebuilt. Only problem, no one can seem to do it. Since it doesnt have traditional screw in ports, and instead has plugs, people cant test it so just give up. Anyone know where i can get this rebuilt? Or perhaps buy a rebuilt and send this in as a core? Or a possible upgrade that will plug right in. I'm hoping this has something to do with the fact that my entire console no longer works too, but this fried before the console gave up so I know this to be actually broken and not just the console ...

I was thinking of doing that, However i would like something with a warranty. seeing as how this has happened once, i'm not sure what will stop it from happening to another used one in perhaps one or two years time.
