Dear All

Just purchased a 2002 X-Type with premium sound. About half of the speakers do not work so I have decided to replace the radio and for now just 4 speakers in the doors. Will direct wire speakers and bypass factory amp whih I suspect is the root of most of my problems.

In any event, can someone give me information as to how to run the speaker wires to the rear door? I see that there is a enclosed wire harness going from the rear door to the door post and I suspect that I can run the wires there, but I just cann't figure out how to run the wires from there. Do I just snake them down the door post and throug hthe scuff trim plate on the floor of front of the passenger compartment.

Running the wires to the front door I suspect will not be a problem.
