Hello all,
Just wondering what my options are in regards to installing an aftermarket amplifier and subwoofer in my 2012 XF (base model)? Do you know where I can tap into a pre-amp full range signal? Or is there a subwoofer output I can utilize? What would you use for the remote turn-on? I would like to do it right the first time without hacking up the car. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Definitely looking for the same answer here. I found this thread and saw that JJSAustin was able to successfully install an amp in his 2012. But I'm a bit confused on how to do it.

I see you're in NJ. If you get this done, would you mind doing it for my car as well? Or provide a detailed description? I'd like to just add a simple 6" sub or a powered amp like this Blaupunkt.

Well any audio system can have a sub added on..I added a shallow mount sub to the dynaudio system in my Vw..Granted it took the shop 2 DAYS to figure it out but it's done
