1 - Has anybody attempted to add XM radio to an S-Type?
2 - Where did you mount the reciever?
3 - Am I correct in assuming that the stock Alpine unit is not satellite ready?
4 - Is there any way to get the satellite radio display to show on the stock Radio via an auxillary port on the stereo?
5 - How does the original stereo come out??

The original stereo is a large unit which will include the CD player even though it appears to be a separate component.
