Gday Guys,

I am wondering if anyone has or knows of a 2.88 diff to suit a XJ6 series 1 for sale???

any help is greatly appreciated.

I can't help you with a diff but want to refer to you a couple of complete rear ends (including diff) I noticed on Aus eBay yesterday at $200 and $400 respectively ... ratios unknown and pickup only from NSW locations. I haven't bothered to supply links ... just search using "XJ6 Diff".

I couldn't help noticing several other interesting items ... so I am also flagging a "heads up" to Clarke up in Brisbane (o1xjr) ... can't let parts like a full bonnet, grille and lights simply fade away for want of the $50 start bid. Just do yourselves a favour ... PM each other so you don't find yourselves bidding against each other!

Hi Deano, Haven't crossed paths with you before, but probably will in time to come.

Thanks Ken, I already have a spare grill and lights and there are two bonnets available locally. One on the car I got my other parts from.

Yeah I have been in contact with both sellers & unfortunately they can not guarantee the diff ratio.
I really need to 2.88 in order for her to be highway friendly. My other option is to change the gearbox to a T700, Something i am a bit hesitant about.
