Beware Navigation Update - Australia
I have been receiving numerous emails from Jaguar InControl Touch Navigation updates from website "notification-NotVIEXTRAS.com" and purchased update for my 2017 XE R Sport. My home street that is 10 years old not on maps, then went to Sydney Airport and major roads that have been in existence for 5 years not on maps. Contacted Jaguar Australia and brushed off with third party supplier excuse.
Can not recommend Jaguar Navigation map updates - use Google Maps.

I was similarly scammed a couple of years ago, there's an online seller with a website advertising up-to-date satnav DVD for Australia for various makes of car; he charges about $200 iirc and, sure enough, a DVD arrives in the mail with all the appropriate labelling printed on the disc, but the actual software is just the old map package from when the DVD system was in vogue. Of course, it takes a little while to figure out that you've been scammed- unless your own home address is not on the disc!
Even for ubiquitous car brands like Ford, the policy is zero support once the car is 7+ years of age. As suggested, Google Maps via phone is a smart alternative , , , and even better if routed to your nav screen via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, as in my upgraded 2016 Ford Territory.
