Default Advice for suspension work on S Type Gold Coast

Hello fellow Queenslanders. New around here and just looking for some advice from any other Jag owners here on the Gold Coast.

Went to get a wheel alignment today and found out that the bushings need replacing on my rear suspension setup. The mechanic showed me underneath the car how much movement was in the lower control arms on both sides. Its causing the car to move about when going over speed bumps or rises in the road.

I want to get this done by someone you guys have used before and would recommend. The mechanic i went and saw said that it would take around 3 hours to replace all the bushings on both rear setups, however doing some research it seems that it might take less than that.

Might be completely wrong in terms of labor required but ultimately i just want some solid advice about where to go from fellow passionate Jag lovers.

Thanks guys

3 Hours for the rear only seems right to me

I did my XJR recently and it took about that to do the rear end.
Id recommend you do the front as well at the same time though as it wears quicker that the rear.

Also look at replacement bushing rather than new arms as this will save you a heap.
Also have the bearings checked and replaced if they show any signs of wear

Cheers
