New Old Jag owner in Pacific Northwest
Hello, my name is Gene and I live near Portland, Oregon, US.
Last week I picked up a 1961 Mk2 that has seen better days. I managed to drive it back to my place but it needs help in just about all departments, so I'm calling it a resto, not a driver - yet.
I'll add more details as I discover them. This site seems like a good spot to learn about the process of making my car run well, then look as gorgeous as she deserves to.
That's it for the intro, I suppose. If I've left something out please let me know.
Cheers!
Gene

Elinor, I am not going to repaint my Jaguar in the Black-over-Red that Chief Inspector Morse drove. A good TV show; not the best color scheme in my opinion. "Lewis" and "Endeavour" are pale shadows of "Inspector Morse"
Again, just my opinion
As far as the resto, I have every intention of enjoying every small success; every time one thing works better or looks better than it did before I started
I'll start my thread as soon as I start that process in earnest. Cheers!
